An Annual Meeting is held each summer. The DLIA Executive Board meets at least twice a year.
The 2020 Annual Meeting scheduled for Monday, August 24, at UMBS is cancelled. The UM Biological Station facilities are closed to the public this summer. Even if we found an alternate venue, some members would not be comfortable in a large group setting this summer.
The DLIA Executive Board approved officer slate of Mary Ellen Sheridan (President-2nd term), Bill Foster (Vice President) and Barb Huey (Secretary-2nd term) was presented to the members. A call to the membership for nominations was made July 13. With no nominations received, the officers are elected by acclamation. Congratulations to Mary Ellen Sheridan, Bill Foster, and Barb Huey.
An Annual Report will be posted along with the Treasurer’s Report and the FY2021 Budget.
